Andrea Costa

Hi, my name is Andrea and I was born
in Rome, Italy.
I've been taking photographs
since 1989, as a means of
expressing myself and for my personal enjoyment.
I started with a simple reflex camera, then moved
to digital when it was a mature technology.
I'm mainly interested in conceptual, architectural
and minimalistic photography,
and starting to study studio techniques.
I shoot digital with an Olympus OM-D E-M5 MkIII with an assortment of new
autofocus and older manual focus lens, and
on film with a medium format Mamiya C220 Pro,
a 35mm FED 5C rangefinder camera and Olympus OM-1 SLR.

Ho iniziato a scattare foto nel 1989, come mezzo
di espressione e per soddisfazione personale.
Ho iniziato con una semplice reflex e sono
passato al digitale quando è diventata
una tecnologia matura.
Sono interessato soprattutto a foto concettuale, architetturale
ed a fotografia minimalistica, ed ho iniziato ad avvicinarmi
alle tecniche da studio.
Fotografo in digitale con una Olympus OM-D E-M5 MkIII e un'assortimento
di nuovi obiettivi autofocus e vecchie lenti a fuoco manuale,
su pellicola con una Mamiya C220 Pro medio formato,
una fotocamera FED 5C a telemetro ed una reflex Olympus OM-1 35mm.
